This week was interesting! It started off great, we went on divisions and with one of our zone leaders we made baptism dates for 4 of our investigators. One of them is Eros, he is 15 and has been attending church for 2 years and has taken all the lessons. The only thing holding him back is his mom. We had all the papers filled out and could have had a baptism last saturday but his less active mom won't sign the paper.
There is a family with two 9 year olds and a mom (janet). They said they wanted to get bapized and we have been teaching them for about a month now. This last sunday a friend of janet said that the husband wont let them get baptized.
This was pretty discouraging but we will keep on working hard.
We planned a halloween party for our stake! a 1 1/2 hour into the party there was only 15 people. haha peruvians have their own time schedule, but eventually they all showed up and we had a great party! Gave the members a chance to get to know each other better!
We gave service in a members home. We sanded all of her walls and painted them! It was actually pretty hard work but it was great! I love doing physical service because you can actually see your work.
Overall everything is great! Not every day can be the best day but you receive your witness after the trial of your faith!
